Or if you're not using 32 measure patterns, add a couple measures to the
end of the pattern to play it safe, then delete them when you're done.

What could be happining is if your recording a synth pattern, say about 16
bars, if your holding down the same note you started with when it loops
over
back to 1, the note will cancel out the first note. try releasing your
notes
just before it loops so it dosnt spill over back to 1,
