Hey, it's the question guy again ;) Last night I was recording some drums in Real Time Record mode, and had my input quantize set to 1/16ths. Everything went ok, but I got notes recorded I didn't want. So I went into grid mode to delete them and the weirdness started. First of all, some of the notes wouldn't delete, even though they were showing up (and sounding too) in the display. I would press the associated trigger button to delete that note location, but nothing would happen. This happened in more than one measure too, and not to all the notes, because I could delete most of them. So I figured I would go back to real time mode, and use the erase button to just clear the track and start over. However when I tried that, things got even worse! The Xl-7's display (set to location) started skipping and freezing every couple of measure (as did playback), and still those few stuck notes weren't deleted. I had to power off/on and then Cut the Track to the Clipboard to get rid of the notes. Anyone else seen this? I couldn't recreate it, but it was definitely frustrating to say the least. And of course, just because the topic came up yesterday and I said I hadn't had a lock up yet, I got my first one last night :) I was jumping between tracks in grid mode, fixing some drums, and playback suddenly stopped and the machine locked mid-measure. I had to power off from the back button in order to get it fixed. So... add me to the list of people with crashes. Oh well, I still got a lot of good work done last night, so I can't complain too much :) rEalm
