> I have never had any musical training in any way, i can't even play an instrument You should really get some sort of musical training. Piano lessions can do miracles to your music production. Knowledge about music theory is really helpful to do more complex harmonies and melodies. When you have more experience, you might need some new sounds to the synth as well. The ZR rom has a really beautiful piano, and a few other useful presets, but the rest is bad. The World rom has wonderful percussion. The Beat Garden rom is just amazing. finally, my last hint I can give you is to listen to more sorts of music. If you're used to only listen to techno, dance, and so on, check out something completley different. Jazz perhaps. Bobo Stenson Trio, Esbjörn Svensson Trio, etc. etc. finally, you could get some inspiration from the music at (advertising warning) www.nifflas.com =) //Nifflas --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, HighDensity303@a... wrote: > Okay, I have had this thing for like 6 months and I don't have a clue as to > what I am doing.
