One of the great thing about the E-Mu samplers is you can buy the
lower level 
Ultra  6400 and upgrade it as your needs and bank account allows to
turn it 
into the big Ultra or Platinum versions. These are the same core
components 
with different options installed and libraries on CD ROM that are or are not 
included. I would suggest buying the 6400 if your tight on $$$,
and your 
own IDE hard drive as it's typically cheaper than buy the drive from
the factory 
.  You may need a kit from e-mu to install the drive, I'm not sure if cable and 
mounting hardware come with it.
You WILL need sone sort of storage device. E-Mu has some
refurbished 
samplers on their web site at great prices. Also, here's a link to
e-mu's

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
