i'm considering an XL7 as a hardware sequencer/drum machine in conjunction with my Novation Nova and Emu Orbit. has anyone had experiences (good or bad) in having the XL7 control Novation and other Emu stuff? specifically, i want to make sure that program changes and other CC data are able to be recorded and played back properly. i would assume that all i need to do is insert a program change event at the start of a track?
