Why are you guys so into gates?  I've used them for old school
gated string/vox effect back in the date but dont use them much now.

Compression on the otherhand, I couldn't live with out it.

I'm suprised stuff on Tresor wouldnt be compressed considering it 
fairly techno, which is known for being very compressed.
