I assume you have glanced at page 110 and pages 190-191 of the manual?
I use this feature all the time, and yes, I have the World Expedition ROM. What specific
questions do you have about it? Do you have scales that you'd like to experiment with? I've been
working with microtonal scales in my music for several decades.
In general, I stay away from the preset tuning tables that they include. Some of them are
valid, others are bunk (to my ear and understanding). I wish they'd list exactly how they set
them up the way they did and why.
The best resolution you can get is within 1.5625 cents which is pretty good (plus or minus
.78125 cents). I've heard that samples are not always accurately tuned in the first place.
Though I've never taken my strobe tuner to the XX-7, it would be an interesting waste of a day...
