Hmm, I'm going to disagree slightly. I use my XL-7 with my tables all the time (synced via a Red Sound Microsync) and they sound way different! Mostly it's just the fact that the XL-7 hasn't gone through many layers of compression like the tune on vinyl has, so it sounds "bigger" (and boomier unfortunately) if you turn it up to compete with the levels of the tables. I personally plan on getting a good EQ and compressor to sort this out in the future, make them sound more 'seemless' when going from one to the other. As it stands now, you can always hear the difference... Props to the mc909 for adding the 3 band compressor to address to very issue. rEalm Something must have been wrong with the tables then, either that or the PA had more power. The raw output of XL/MP sound good but they still don't compare to a properly produced record. To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: xl7-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Your use of Yahoo!
