The tables where mine and they where working fine. The levles where also ajusted by me all night so i know that they where about the same the night through. Any way it may bave been the behringinger Tube composer compresor i use. The mains of the xl are also where the recording starts all that you put beetween it and what ever records it is not likley going to make it cleaner or have more punch. i use a rack of outboard gear to keep it nice and smooth but mostly it is just some fx a tube composer side chained with a ultracurve pro and that is it and it sounded crisp and clear i tell ya.
