I have slaved my sound card per instructions of it's manual How can you lock your Gina at multiple samples rates while slaved to the MP7? Its impossible. When you slave the Gina to the MP7 the Gina will show whatever the MP7 gives it. So there is no way you could be trying different rates will slaved, it just doesnt work that way. If you have gotten the MP7 to work with other units and not slaved either side then you will get little pops here and there, probably a lot more subtle than what you are hearing now. But no two clocks are exactly the same, even if they are both at 44.1k, the will go slightly off and thats what you need to have one slaved to the other so they can be exactly the same (except for errors caused by jitter). Perhaps your DAT autoslaves when recording from a digital source and that's what you havent noticed them there. Sounds like there *is* some compatiblity problem here. I used to get that when I connected my DAT to an old hardware DAW sometimes. There was a setting I had to engage, but I can't remember now. Hopefully Echo can clear up the problem. You will need to figure out how to slave it properly though for best results once they figure out the cause for the noise. Jesse
