Also, keep in mind I've got some Multisetups in the files section of this 
list that I designed specifically to use with Reason's instruments (and 
some other softsynths) using the XL-7 as a controller.  You can get them

Just load them one at a time into your XL-7 via the midi sequencer of your 
choice.  Then you can quickly select them to use as you switch instruments 
in Reason.  I've included a text file with each Multi that tells you what 
controls the knobs are mapped to, as well as the midi CC#.  These will 
work with Reason 2.0 as well.

2. Use Reason as a "rack-o-gear" for the XX-7.  The NNXT sampler in Reason
is a fairly well specified sampler.  the other synths and effects are also
fun and complement the XX-7's synth well.
