Your track which is assigned to output EXT 12a (note that tracks are different than their channel assignments a common source of confusion in the XX-7) actually has whatever MIDI was at the input during the recording. The rechannelize feature only redirects the input data. It does not filter the data. So if you look in the track using the pattern event editor you will actually see the MAQ data. During playback whatever channel the track is assigned to is used to force the recorded data to that channel. This is why you are hearing the MAQ data only on playback. Unfortunately there is no easy fix for this problem other than to slave the MAQ to the XX-7's MIDI clock. drk www.delora.com/music www.mp3.com/zdrk drk.iuma.com
