The easiest way is to just copy a blank pattern over it.  There's no 
direct way to initialize a Pattern unfortunately.  Or, you could hold down 
the Erase button, and then Press each Track Mute button 1 at a time.  This 
would erase all fo the Pattern data too.

How do you erase a unwanted patten?
