You could use the Tranpose section of the Preset Edit menu to scale the 
drums up or down, or to select new drum sounds on a previously recorded 
part.  You would of course have to resave teh Preset once you were done. 
Unfortunately, there's no way to create your own drumkits in the XX-7, 
though we have asked for that feature a few time :)

 Is there a way to access 
 and edit individual sounds 
 in the drum kit presets ? 
 
 I've worked in Cakewalk 
 and there was this 
 function called split 
 notes to channel or split 
 notes to tracks and I 
 would use that for my 
 percussion instruments. 
 Now would the MP-7 have 
 such a function, to where 
 as I could say change a 
 light bass kick to a more 
 heavier bass kick?
