Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Is it possible to use E-Loader to save a single pattern as a SMF? If so, 
it would make it possible to load it into Cubase/Logic/Sonar, without 
worrying about timing issues.  I don't have that manual here at work, so I 
can't look it up.

Since you can't copy measures within a pattern ( :(  ), how is everyone on 
this list getting around that huge limitation?  Can someone from Emu 
comment on whether this MIGHT be addressed in future OS update?  I love 
the XL-7, but lack of more detailed pattern editing is going to make it 
impractical for me to use outside of the studio, which is why I initially 
purchased it.  I only get to purchase a new piece of gear once every 
couple of years due to the high cost, so I need to make sure the XL-7 will 
be able to meet my needs before my 30 day return policy is up.

Anyone?  Feel free to email me privately if you don't wish to address the 
whole list.  But please, this is really important to me!  I can't afford 
to get gear that's going to sit in my studio unused...
