Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm seriously considering purchasing an mp-7 because i need a 
break from composing and working completely on the computer. 
i use a Mac with Logic, Reason and Ableton Live and all the 
technology is getting in the way of my music. so it's time for a 
new toy. the mp-7 looks and sounds dope and i''ve used e-mu 
stuff in the past and feel very comfortable working with it. my 
favorite piece of gear ever was my Ensoniq ASRX Pro(wish i 
hadn't sold it) because of the awesome sound quality. 
unfortunately the sequencer SUCKED and it was very buggy. 
anyway, i guess my question is: Is the sequencer on the mp-7 
very tight? i'll be producing hip-hop and mellow d&b and 
tightness is of the essence. i'm worried because i know e-mu 
isn't exactly known for making sequencers. and is everybody 
happy with the sounds or are they getting old? oh, and can i load 
my own sounds in with the expansion flash rom with an e5000 
Ultra or do i need an E4 sampler? it says 2 different things on 
e-mus site. thanks and i hope to be playing a new mp-7 soon.
