Hopefully someone here can help me with this.... I have never been able to get e-loader to download a single bit of info from my xl7, beyond pattern names. I thought maybe it was my computer, or my midi setup....well, I now have a new computer, which didtn seem to help...SO, I bypassed my illustrious MOTU micro express, and plugged the xl7 directly into my gameport midi interface (which has always worked for any other midi i do). So, even with the xl7 being the only midi device in the mix, e-loader will not backup my programs. It DOES show all the names though...I have the USB drivers installed as well, in winxp....I've even reset the xl7 to it's factory multisetup state, same deal. In the Midi Message Console, when i try to do a download, of even a single pattern, it says this... bad checksum received. packetNum: 0 cs was: 121 should be: 122 sending NAK ProgressTracker timed out. [now=1038602537296,out=1038602536968] entire upload time 0:0:12.782 Any ideas anyone? I want to be able to say that a few years from now, I can still load an old sequence from back in the day to play an old song...but if cant backup this stuff up, then this thing has virtually become useless in the long run! Thanks, ByronIV
