hi i'd go with the Midman Midisport 2x2 which i have. Check out the 4x4 which is great value at the moment. Under XP i've had problems with the Motu fastlane USB and handling large midi dumps like OS or complete banks I think at theres at least one other user on this group who has had trouble with the Fastlane. I've emailed Motu support but they haven't bothered to answer back. ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Oler To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 4:50 PM Subject: Re: [xl7] USB and Midi I use a Midiman 2x2. It is connected to a laptop using Windows XP. It has worked great. Occasionally I have to reinstall the drivers. But I haven't loaded its latest drivers yet. Bang for the buck, Midiman has the best choices. -Greg --- donron29669 <donron8@...> wrote: > Has anyone used a usb to midi connector beyween > their pc and a > command station to update their OS and backup preset > data.
