Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am probably the least experienced person in this group.  However, I
had a semilar problem.  What worked for me was not using my
midi-interface.  The EMU representative advised me to use a cheap midi
cable to connect the MP7 to the game port on the PC's sound
card...Hey, it worked.
