I have done this to interface both a Mac and a PC to my Emu Ultra sampler. The USB-to-SCSI interface was made by Adaptec and worked without problems. It also worked with a Yamaha A5000 sampler, though that was not tested as extensively. Whether this will work with the S3000xL or not is hard to say. Best thing to do is try it out. My suspicion is it will but... Also you might consider a Firewire-to-SCSI as an alternative if your computer has a Firewire port. USB 1.1 is not the fastest way to move data and it might be frustrating if you are sending a lot of samples back and forth. I don't have direct experience using such an adaptor but have read reports from others stating that they do work. Good luck! drk www.delora.com/music www.mp3.com/zdrk drk.iuma.com
