Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Not much you can do to get around that, that's just the way MIDI clock 
works.  Maybe instead of stopping his box, he can just turn the volume 
down, or mute the mixer channel the MPC is plugged into?  Are you using an 
external mixer?

 HELLO
I have a big problem when i'm playing with a friend : the both gear are
well synced (i have an XL7 in master and my friend an mpc2000xl in slave) 
,
all is working fine but when his gear stop (he 's samlping something for
example) i have to press the stop button and then play to restart his
machine... it's a big problem because there's a big break !!!
so, if you have any idea to restart his gear without stopped mine...
