Be careful listening at Guitar Center, they usually give you really crappy speakers to listen to. When I was auditioning my XL-7, I was kinda unimpressed with the sounds myself. However a friend told me that wouldn't be the case when I heard it one good speaker. Sure enough when I got the unit home I was blown away by the sound quality. If nothing else, bring your own headphones to the store, I always do that. Saves your ears from listening to that 10 year old tweaking every single knob on a MS2000 right next to you too! :) rEalm When I tried out the MP-7 command station in Guitar Center, I played with it for a couple of hours. The other main concern I had is that although it had a lot of really great sounds, it seemed to lack a strong selection of percussion sounds. I am concerned that I will have to get a stand-alone drum machine to supplement this. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
