Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am seriously considering the purchase of the MP-7.  My only problem 
is I don't fully understand if this is the machine for me.

I am interested in creating my own hip-hop/R&B beats coupled with 
basslines and melodies.  I want it so that all I need to do is add 
vocals and have a complete song.
Yes this is the machine for you, with many possibilities. I do hiphop myself
to. Have the MP-7  with the proteus rom added (soundrom)
[Spoelstra, P.J.] pfieu great stuff. I searched everywhere for the best
machine for making hiphop and found this to be the best (MPC is great to,
but I didnt want to look al over for sounds, or create m one sounds)
What you do need extra is some midi-keyboard, otherwise you'll go crazy. 
(Maybe stupid that I say, but you cannot record vocals in this machine,
you'll need to do that in PC or HD-recorder)
