I see what you're doing wrong. With in a pattern, there are 32 internal MIDI channels to set your presets up in. These are labeled 01A to 16A and 01B to 16B. All 16 of the sequencer tracks share these channels. If you've used channels 01A through 05A for presets used by track 1 and then want different presets for track 2, you should use 06A through 11A.
