Thanks for your answer Aaron. I wonder if some sort of grounding cable bewteen both parts would fix the problem? Nasty design flaw if you ask me. BTW, when opening the unit I was midly pleased to see both chassis pieces were only fixed together by these 8 screws, and that it did involved some sliding or something. Seems lousy to me. Oh well. Anyway.
