The sample information would have to live in some large buffer before being burned (Saved) to Flash unless the transfer to USB could store temporarily in the same or maybe a different ROM, i.e. transfer new samples into flash #3 as a holding tank, create presets and store all to Flash #4. Highly unlikely the current hardware could support this. One point I think is important from my perspective, (This of course means I think my perspective is important, I appologize now for this assumption) the voting let us only cast one single vote. Although I highly applaude the effort that was supplied for us, I think the results look skewed when there are features that have no votes at all. I think more useful information could have been supplied to E-Mu if everyone could vote on all the items they wanted. That I believe would provide a clearer picture. I am also a designer and developer who has worked on hardware and software for various companies including E-Mu. End of point.
