Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,

     In response to your request for photos, I snapped a few quick ones for you.  You can find

     These few photos show most of the details you need to do this yourself.  As a woodworker, I
just hastily threw this together for a different purpose (holding my Proteus 2000 at an upwards
angle so that I could view it better).  Then I sold that unit and bought the XL-7.  I found the by
turning it around, I could see the XL-7 better too.  The one thing I would change if I were to
make it again, is that it doesn't need to be as deep as it is.  Current dimensions are 17" wide,
11 1/4" deep, and 3 1/2" tall at the back, 1 1/4" tall at the front.  It only needs to be 8" deep,
or 8 3/4" if you have a lip on the front to keep it from sliding off.  I just used scrap
materials, though if you want it to look really nice, you can use better stuff.  I used screws to
hold it together because they are quick, though again, you can just use glue and it will look mo
bettah.  I also would make the angle a little steeper so that it would tilt it more.  This is
desireable in my setup, mileage may vary.
