Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Now that new os is apparant reality, and as a late request, I believe there 
is one function that could propell the command station into another 
powerfull realm. Knowing EMU and Ensoniq are merged and assuming members of 
the old VFX team may be lurking in the R+D dept still (I see some 
similarities, being an original VFX-SD owner) I believe this more than 
slightly possible. In the controllers menu, triggers buttom functions-there 
are 2 options, notes or beats parts. Seems like more than 2 options would 
be cake, I would love to see this one-Selects keyboard channel, such that 
with the triggers set to this, whichever trigger was selected output that 
channels preset(s) in real time, selecting more would layer in real time. 
In live situations up to 16 presets or combos could be accesed with a click 
of a button and on the fly. The old vfx used "double click" to layer, 
mighty innovative fot its time, and to my knowledge, no one else ever did, 
and this with tech from 15 years ago...so I know it could be done now! My 2 
cents.....
