Sorry to answer about a different product, but with the mc505, all you
need to do is set the Amp Release time for that patch slightly longer. 95%
of the time you won't even hear any other difference in your patch.

Subject: [xl7] Pattern Question...
Hello all.
I don't own an XL-7 yet but, I hope I will soon. I am currently a
MC505 owner and one of the things that bothers me about the Roland
sequencer is: If you have an 8 bar pattern and you trigger a long
sound (let's say a pad) in the eighth bar, it's sound will cut off
when the pattern loops back to bar one. Has anyone tried this on the
XL-7 or MP-7? What about a note that was held through the end of bar
8 and into bar one?
Thanks in advance.
