Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

It's typically called Pattern Call and if you look at our list of OS 
suggestions (I posted it again a couple days ago) you'll see it's on 
there.  I bet we see this in the next OS for sure, all other sequencer 
boxes have this.

Back to XL7 - being able to assign Patterns to the keys, and then 
switch patterns rhythmically is a great way to create unusual 
syncopations and breaks, and from my point of view much easier than the 
wheel.
