Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Cool idea, but you'd need some type of modifier key too I'd think.  The 
keypads currently function as a way to enter letters too, which saves me 
hours of time renaming patterns and presets.

Just curious to get any feedback on these ideas: 

1) A function that changes the Play Pads to a numeric keypad - i.e. 
from C-C: (0 - 9) + (ENTER) + (PLUS) and (MINUS). This for entering 
values as an alternative to the wheel. 

2) A function that allows assigning PATTERNS to Play Pads
