Quality! Looks killer, nice one! What's up with the wood on the bottom?
If you made that out of cherry too, it would be so incredible! Great job.
BTW, don't know how much you know about cherry, but if you leave it on the
sun (window sill or something) when you've not playing it, it gets a
really nice deep color to it over time (weeks) that accents the wood
grain. Made a few things myself out of cherry, and that always help to
give it a great look. Just FYI.

I remade the end pieces on my XL-7, replacing the black plastic with
cherry wood.

I did this upon receiving my latest sound ROM, the World Expedition.
This complements my
other three cards, the XL, Proteus 2500, and ZR-76.
I've got a pretty good arsenal of sounds here, though I only use
about 10 to 15% of each
sound card. I wish I could have all the usable (to me) sounds all on one
card...
Let me know what you guys think of this new addition to the looks of
the unit.
