What error log? If E-Loader doesn't run at all, how can it generate an 
error log? Or maybe you mean some kind of XP or Java error log?

Plus, what do you mean it installs when in safe mode? Are you saying the 
E- Loader Installer works in safe mode, but not in full mode?  That seems 
real weird. I would think that the Java system installed with XP+SP1 
either works 
or it doesn't.

I still haven't gotten an XP+SP1 system up and running yet, so I'm sorry 
that  we have to do this 'blindly'. Hopefully I will get a setup soon so 
that I can give  you more definitive answers. Meanwhile, I appreciate your 
willingness to do  some remote troubleshooting for me.
