Whoa! Yes, you can put Proteus ROMs in an E4, but the converse is NOT true. The Orbit/Phatt ROM and the E-Synth ROM are for E4s only. At best they will not show up in your XL-7. At worst, you may corrupt data, damage the ROM, and probably all sorts of other bad possibilities that I didn't think of. Anyway, you won't really gain anything because, if I'm not mistaken, the samples are the same, and since presets don't transfer from E4 to XL-7 or vice-versa, you won't get anything you don't have in the other box. -Aaron PS.
