Just to add to the confusion, I'm gonna recommend Sonar. I've tried almost all of the sequencers out there, and Sonar has the best MIDI implimentation in my opinion. I tend to get the foundation beat set up in Sonar, where I can use groove quantizing and nifty stuff like that on a beat, and then record it into my command station. After I've got a few measures uploaded I usually just cut and paste the measures using the hardware. Also, since multi-channel recording doesn't work right *yet* in grid record mode, this lets me get around playing in real-time, which I suck at. sapo --- In xl7@y..., "Jean Kergutuil" <jean.kergutuil@a...> wrote: > What do you think about cubase sx ?? is it a good way to prepare sequence > with cubase or is it better to work only on the XL7 ?? > Thanks
