Re: [xl7] Midi Clock Receive

2002-09-16 by Ravi Ivan Sharma

i think you turn off midi start messages so the sequencer doesn't start, But you still want to recieve clock so that your patches with rhythmical lfos and appegiators (if you use them) will be in sync with your song from the other sequencer.

Subject: [xl7] Midi Clock Receive

Does anyone out there know if it is ossible to disable the MIDI clock
receive function in the XL7? What I am looking to do is *on occassion*
just use the machine as a big proteus using the external sequencer - no
internal (xl7) sequencer going - can't find any info on this anywhere
and seem like as long as the MIDI input cable is connected the xl7
plays - no way of stopping it.

Also anyone who has successfully used E-loader on a Mac w/UB MIDI
interface? So far cannot get that to work.

OK - thank you all

Ed
