They never announced a new OS would be out in September, they simple said more info would be available about their plans in September.

Now, I´m very curious about the new OS:
First, it has been announced for september in this group. Now they
discuss this matter to let us know if they will proceed with it at
the end of september. Two weeks to go. Patience is a virtue... I
should have known before I bought my gear ;-)
