Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

for some reason the xl7 isn't responding to cakewalk's tempo data 
that it is sending to the xl7.  i do have it slaved, but for some 
reason cakewalk won't transmit the tempo...does anyone know how to 
insert a tempo change command in a cakewalk file?  (if it helps you 
answer this question, i have been saving my files as *.mid* files)
