You're on the right track (no pun intended). Instead of putting notes into the track, try putting a controller in there (it'll work just as well). This is also a good way to set up volume and pan for those channels. One easy way to do this is to go into step record and on the first step (1.1.000) set the volume and pan knobs (the 3rd and 4th mode of the knob matrix) for all the channels you want. This unfortunately has the side effect of setting the A channels' volumes as well, but if you hit stop three times, it will reset them back (and also will set the B channels to the new values. So, to recap: 1-go to track 16 (your MultiB track) 2-RTZ (press stop twice) 3-hit record till you're in step record 4-hit the knob selector button till it's on volume 5-for each B channel you want to save preset data for, set the level 6-if desired, repeat steps 3-4 for pan 7-hit stop 3 times (once to end rec, once to RTZ, once to reset values) 8-save Step 7 is important, otherwise you will save incorrect values for the A channels. -Aaron --- joesapo <joesapo@...> wrote: > so I tried putting some notes down on all B channels 1 - 4 > (track 16 is MultiB).
