Hi Garrison, The machine will in fact power up with a DEFAULT set of sounds on each MIDI channel, but as soon as you dial up a pattern, the sounds that belong to the pattern you saved should all where they're supposed to be. Now if you want a custom default layout of presets/channels, you can create a MULTISETUP. They are found in the GLOBAL EDIT area. Multisetups store: The Channel/Preset assignments for MIDI 1A-16A, 1B- 16B, Knob Custom Assignments, Trigger Custom Assignments, as well as some other stuff. There are a total of 64 Multisetups (0-63) in the Command Station, of which 63 (0-62) are editable and storeable, and 1 (#63) is a default multisetup. Each time you want to make a new pattern, simply load the appropriate multisetup. -Larry --- In xl7@y..., garrisonheslin@y... wrote: > I think I'm good with the track -vs- channell windows, and while im > using the machine(i.e. after i've programed a sequence and selected > the various sounds/presets), all goes well.
