Good idea, but I have yet to see a bad review of it in the magazines, which I would wager counts for more. �You're right a lot of people out there are watching the Emu range of boxes, especially since there's rumors of it possibly intregrating with the E5 to give users the ability to load their own samples right there in the box. �My friend who's the manager of the pro audio section at Gutar Center tells me all the time about people wanting to know when it will have that feature available. �The only other box that has integrated sampling is the RS7000, but it has a crap synth section, especially compare to the XX-7's. �If Emu could add a few more key features, I think they could well put themselves into the top of the groovebox category, hands down. �I guess we'll just have to wait and see. �I too would be willing to pay for a new OS that allowed me to do some of the features we've talked about on this list.

Suggestion: Would further and fair reviews of the XX-7 group on
harmonycentral and sonicstate be a way to make up your decision
about going on with a new OS???
