The best and easiest way is to use the included MAC or PC Program called "E-Loader" that comes standard with a XL or MP-7. This program works via MIDI. It enables you to do bulk saves or loads of pattern and song banks. Also, it allows you to load and save individual patterns or songs into folders on your computer. They are saved as Standard MIDI files. This enables you to open patterns created on your Xl-7 in a computer based Sequencer or better yet it also allows you down load SMF's made with any sequencer into the Xl-7 as Songs or Patterns (up to 32 bars). We hope to have all of this functionality implemented into the Xl-7 via USB shortly. sean ay e-mu / ensoniq radside1@... wrote: > > What is the best/easiest way to save data since there isn't a disc > drive option and I was told that the to host/USB port was not yet > functional?
