Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi all-
I've been experiencing some trouble with external sequencing:

I use the XL-7 as master to all my other sound modules.

When triggering an Arpeggiator on an external synth, the Xl-7 seems to be a 
bit erratic at start/stop retriggers.

More clearly: I usually have to start a track several times to get the 
External synth's Arpeggiator to sync up properly. If I play the sound off of 
a keyboard repeatedly, there is no problem with the way the synth responds, 
but once I have the Trigger note sequenced on the XL-7 for playback, it just 
doesn't want to start properly every time you start playback. This never 
used to happen on my Kawai Q-80 sequencer. Anyone else have this problem?

I do like this machine A LOT, but I am afraid it still seems a bit buggy and 
erratic for how much I am depending on it. Any word on a new OS?
