Sasha just released his \u2018proper album\u2019, titled \u201cAirdrawndagger\u201d. It\u2019s quite good, if anyone is interested. I\u2019m not sure it lives up to the hype that\u2019s been surrounding it. It\u2019s not quite groundbreaking, but he\u2019s definitely a good songwriter. Different than I expected \u2013 chilled out, almost new-agey. It\u2019s taken him 5 years, so I\u2019m sure his role was much deeper than Oakey\u2019s.

If this is the same as the rest of Oakey's "original tunes" then he's just the executive producer, not really the writer. He just comes into the studio and says "put a break down here", "make this part longer", "we need deeper drums" etc. Not too different from Timo Maas and Matrin Buttrich really, except that Timo freely admits Martin does most of the work :)

I am curious to hear that track with Perry Farrell on vocals though....

Blurry! Yes. Especially since DJs are now releasing proper albums (Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka).
