USB, please help

2002-08-09 by Neila Eliphas Spare

All right, I haven't needed to use the USB yet, so it really hasn't been a problem. But something seriously is either wrong with me or my box as I have still not been able to find my USB socket. If someone wouldn't mind, and if they have the capability, mind sending me (or just posting on the list) a picture of the Command Station depicting where exactly the USB socket is.
Respects & Thanks,
Aaron Nesby

It's USB, not firewire. It's used with E-Loader to transfer and archive patterns from your XX-7 into the computer.

Subject: [xl7] Fire Wire?

Has anyone found out exactly what the fire wire connection on the
back of the MP/XL-7 is for? I was told by the salesman at the store
that it could hook directly up to my computer, but how? What I mean
is is there a program or interface to use it with. I'm running
everything from Cakewalk 7.0 up to Sonar, Cusbas VST 24 Sound Forge
4.5 and others and can't figure it out. The manual makes no mention
of it at all. Help please! Technology going to waste. Donpoppie
