Well, thanks for the help in regard to the FX (looks like
I'm just stuck with knob twisting and channel buttons for getting to different
tracks for now). So now I have effects being used....well kind of, I don't
have nearly as much control over them as I would like. Once I had the FX
working, I figured I could just use the patch cord section and assign one of my
modulation amounts on a patch to correspond with a desired effect.....well,
doesn't look like this is going to work out quite the way I planned, as I seem
to be able to reach about every darn parameter I would like to reach in regard
to assigning it to a mod knob other than FX. Anyone know if there is a way
to go about doing this.
And thanks for the heads up on the lights rEalm, looks
like I'm going to by pass open surgery on the XL7 for now. I didn't get
the piece at any local store however, so I'm guessing I'll be looking at having
to send it back to Emu or something (as I would think my lil button problem
would be covered by their warranty). Darn this button problem is really
really annoying me though (course the simple solution is just to avoid assigning
anything to track three, but I'm hard headed and refused to do so).
Somewhat on this same subject, I was trying to connect to
the EMU site to email their tech guys on a couple different issues, chiefly of
course, getting whatever process to get my XL7 back to them with a mute/trigger
3 button that works properly, but came to find that I'm having some problems
connecting to the EMU site.....not being able to connect to the site at all
being the most noticable problem. Is anyone else having trouble doing
this, or is it just me?
