The Roland JP series which I don't recommend ( pls don't buy that shite ) You can record your own appregios and play them with the keyboard or with an external sequencer. I think the Novation can do that too. They all have appregios, not really a sequencer. Your best bet is to use an external sequencer. RS7000, Akai MPC or the XL-7 Cause all this synths, have Preset Appregios. You know, like up down octaves and simple stuff. The CS6X has the most preset appregios tho. 128. Pretty neat appregios, kind of sliced. Oh and it has a smartmedia card slot so you can save your stuff. The others you have to save through MIDI bulk. Now if you really want Desktop sequencers/synth. Yamaha has the AN200 and DX200 http://www.yamaha.com/cgi-win/webcgi.exe/DsplyModel/?gTGN00005AN200 http://www.yamaha.com/cgi-win/webcgi.exe/DsplyModel/?gTGN00005DX200 Analog and FM synths they have a 16 step sequencer ( like buttons to do what you do with Reason but just 16) lots of knobs, but they are not as phat as the others I mentioned before. I quote they Yamaha website "...A Kickin' Home Studio..." I feel bad talking so much about Yamaha and others gear on a EMU group tho :/ But for real, are there any trance oriented Desktop synths with sequencer from EMU? Cause I would like to try one. You should also download the manual from the internet, read their overview and go to the store and play with it. I do that all the time to carefully select my gear. That's the best thing to do. For real, Store attendants love to be asked a million questions and then see you leave buying just a MIDI cable or something. You can then go and buy your stuff from a cheaper store or website. peace -Dave- --- In xl7@y..., scory5@q... wrote: > right on dude....thanks! thatl keep me busy in my research for sure. > > Out of all of those you mentioned, which has a sequencer included?
