Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I installed the pure phatt rom in my xl-7 and thought
I would be able to play back the pattern & songs for the mp-7 that 
were on the CD that came with the xl-7. (The CD has a folder for both 
xl-7 & mp-7 patterns & songs)   Each track gives the message ROM not 
installed (or something like that).  The card works fine and I guess 
I could just go in and try to figure which patches to use but there's 
got to be an easier way.
Or is the Pure Phatt ROM different from that installed in the mp-7.
