I asked the same question a while ago. and I
ended up with the MP-7 & a yamaha a4000 sampler. What I got was a
sequencer better than the RS7k and a sampler better than the rs7k. sure I
paid more. But not a whole hell of a lot more (a4000's are going for $600
on ebay)
