I SECOND this question! Is there an easy way
to record in grid or realtime a track containing notes on channels 1 2 &
3? or recording a track on track 2 with channels 16a and 1b?

I do all my sequencing in Grid Record Mode. When I'm working on a
synth part I start in grid and finish up by changing the note lengths
in the Note Edit Menu. I can deal with that. The problem I have is
with multi-channel tracks. Any grid sequencing done on a track always
goes to the parallel channel, i.e. grid recording on track 05 always
goes to channel 05A. I would have to go to note edit and change the
channel for every note to accomplish a multi-channel track using grid
record. I shoud be able to select a channel to work on when grid
recording a multi-channel track. Am I just an idiot? I had expected
the OS upgrades to take care of this but they haven't. What's up?
